Our Sponsors

Our Sponsors

We’re so excited to celebrate the incredible small businesses who are our local sponsors in the Twin Cities. We only invite businesses to work with us who we already respect and adore, so we mean it when we say:

These are our go-to Twin Cities businesses for realty, books, prints, landscape & hardscape, and girls night out events + sign making!

If you need any of these items, please consider supporting them the way that they support us, women, and storytelling in the Twin Cities!

Our Emcee

Our Emcee

Each May, in LTYM Twin Cities tradition, an alumni acts as an emcee for the new cast.

Her job is two-fold. She holds the audience’s hand from story to story AND she represents the previous Twin Cities readers in passing the storytelling torch to the new group.

We’re finding lots of ways to make this 10 year anniversary show so incredibly special!

And ONE of those ways is that an alumni from EACH of the past shows will be introducing one member of this new, extraordinary cast!

Audition Information

Audition Information

For us, Listen to Your Mother audition season is, quite literally, the most wonderful time of the year.

Listen to Your Mother is the celebration of motherhood that we all wish we’d thought of, and that luckily national director Ann Imig did think of! Now affectionately known as LTYM, Listen to Your Mother is a series of live, on-stage readings across North America on or around Mother’s Day.

Most LTYM readers aren’t professional writers and many of them aren’t mothers. LTYM readers are people with stories about motherhood to tell. And this includes absolutely everyone—especially you.

These Are The Only Two Kinds Of Women That We're Looking For

The most common thing we hear about Listen to Your Mother Twin Cities is, “I could never do THAT!” THAT, being getting on the Riverview stage in front of 700 people to tell your story.

And we’re here, of course, to debunk that. If 100+ other Twin Cities women have done it since 2013, then why not you?

We want to tell you a ‘lil story today about the only two kinds of women that we’re looking for for LTYM. And yes, there really are only two.
